Stuff For Everyone - Website Development Episode 1 of 9

Susan:

“Hey Charlie,” Susan stated as she called her best friend. “It’s Susan”.

Charlie:

“What a pleasant surprise,” Charlie happily answered. “How are you?”

Susan:

“Actually, I’m a bit tired today.”

Charlie:

“Why’s that,” Charlie curiously asked.

Susan:

“Late in the day I got two admissions. Covid admissions. Actually.”

Charlie:

“Sorry to hear that,” Charlie sympathetically replied. “What’s up,” he asked wanting to change the subject as he just got home from an exhausting day as a bus driver.

Susan:

“Actually, I called to tell you, Bobby launched his website this afternoon,” she stated, referring to her entrepreneur husband, Bobby.

Charlie:

“That’s the one where he is selling Stuff to Everyone,” Charlie stated as he put the phone on the kitchen counter and turned on the speaker as he reached into the refrigerator for a beer.

Susan:

“Actually, the name of the website is Stuff For Everyone®,” Susan injected.

Charlie:

“Stuff For Everyone®,” Charlie stated as he slowly repeated the name of the website.

Susan:

“It’s a really cool website,” Susan excitingly stated. “All the categories of things he is selling begin with the word, Stuff.”

Charlie:

“Well that’s certainly different,” Charlie replied, taking a sip of his beer. “Cute, actually,” he added. “How did he come up with that concept?”

Susan:

“Two reasons,” Susan replied. “As you know we are from New York. New Yorkers buy stuff, sell stuff, move stuff, own stuff, etc. That’s how we talk.”

Charlie:

“That sounds like him,” Charlie stated, referring to Bobby’s upbring in the Bronx. “Or should I say, Da Bronx, knowing how strong his accent is,” he sarcastically added followed by a laugh. “So, what’s the second reason?”

Susan:

“Well you know Bobby spent several years working for Snapple as their Vice President of Finance for their international division.”

Charlie:

“Yeah, I remember that” Charlie stated as he took another sip of his beer. “He had some career there getting them into thirty-five countries in just 15 months,” he added.

Susan:

“That’s my Bobby,” Susan proudly commented. “Anyway, the tag line for Snapple was, ‘Made From The ‘Best Stuff On Earth’”.

Charlie:

“Got it, Susan,” Charlie stated interrupting her. “Very clever,” he declared. Pausing for a moment Charlie pronounced, “Stuff For Everyone®. I Love it!”

Susan:

“Isn’t the name clever?” Susan jovially stated. “We literally will be selling Stuff to Everyone.”

Charlie:

“Isn’t the name Stuff For Everyone®?

Susan:

“It is, and that is why we are selling Stuff For Everyone®.”

Charlie:

“Susan, I don’t mean to be rude, but my wife just walked in, and I got to run.”

Susan:

“I understand,” Susan passionately replied.

Charlie:

“I’ll tell you what.” Charlie stated while greeting his wife with a kiss on the cheek. “I’ll call you back tomorrow because I ready want to here about all the Stuff you guys are going to sell,” he added emphasizing the word Stuff.

Susan:

“Well, in the meantime, don’t forget the name of the website,” Susan said, adding, “Stuff For Everyone®.”

Charlie:

“I’m going to write it right down,” Charlie stated pulling a pad of paper and a pen front a nearby kitchen draw. “Stuff For Everyone®,” he mumbled as he wrote the name down on the pad. “Talk to you tomorrow.”

Susan:

 “Bye,” Susan injected.
